What Makes A Good Women's Country Coat?

What To Wear With A Women's Country Coat

Our women's country coats are designed to be worn whilst facing the elements when discovering the countryside. Wear a women's country coat over your winter layering system such as a women's country jumper and waterproof trousers. 

During those wet weather days, we recommend a pair of heavy duty Arxus wellies too. 

A women's country coat is also a cold weather staple for a range of outdoor activities such as watching sport, on a country walk or whilst in the field.

Find The Perfect Fitting Women's Country Coat

Whilst choosing a women's country coat, consider sizing and giving yourself enough room for movement, especially in the arms. Due to the design of our women's country coats, they are mainly warm in those cold winter months with a lot of layers underneath. 

To assist you with our sizing, our women's country coats are designed with one of two fits:

1. Shooting Fit - Building into women's country coat 7" to 8" from actual chest size to allow for movement & layering.

2. Regular Fit - Building into women's country coat 3" to 4" from actual chest size to allow for layering.

For example, if you were a 36" bust and bought a size 12 Combrook ladies coat (shooting fit), the actual garment chest would measure 44" to accommodate layering and movement. You will find the type of garment fit at the end of the product name.
